Another Hendrick’s: A New Side of an Iconic Gin Came to Life at Sky Bar
Hendrick’s has always been a brand that stood out within the gin category. From the very beginning, it built its identity on an unusual yet unmistakable combination of cucumber and rose, British eccentricity, and the ability to do things just a little differently. Now, another layer has been added to that personality.
Introducing Another Hendrick’s — the first new permanent addition to the Hendrick’s portfolio in almost a decade. This is not a limited edition or a short-lived experiment, but a new permanent expression of the brand, revealing a different sensory side of Hendrick’s. It still carries the familiar Hendrick’s DNA, while adding a new flavour contrast of orange blossom and cacao beans.
The result is a gin that feels light, floral and fresh, yet also carries a gentle depth, smoothness and almost gourmet character. This contrast feels very Hendrick’s. The brand has never been built around just one emotion. It has always been elegant and unusual, fresh and complex, playful and premium. Another Hendrick’s takes this duality into a new direction.

One Brand, Two Sensory Dimensions
The bottle itself already suggests that Another Hendrick’s is meant to act as a mirror image of the original Hendrick’s Gin. While the classic black apothecary-style bottle has become an icon of the category, the new white bottle creates a clear visual contrast. Side by side, they feel like two sides of the same brand.
But this is not just a design story. Another Hendrick’s starts from the same foundation as Hendrick’s Gin — eleven botanicals, distillation in two different types of stills, complemented by an infusion of cucumber and rose. Then comes the additional layer: orange blossom and cacao.
Orange blossom brings a bright, citrus-floral character. Cacao adds gentle depth, roundness and smoothness. This is not a chocolate gin in the obvious sense of the word. It is a more subtle and elegant use of cacao, bringing texture and depth while keeping the drink in balance.
Behind the new expression is Lesley Gracie, Master Distiller of Hendrick’s Gin, who has been shaping the flavour world of Hendrick’s for more than two decades. Her fascination with flowers and her love of chocolate meet in a product that still feels unmistakably Hendrick’s, while revealing a completely different side of its personality.

The Launch at Sky Bar
Another Hendrick’s was also introduced in Bratislava, at Sky Bar & Restaurant. The event naturally unfolded in two parts. During the day, the new product was launched, while the evening belonged to cocktails, guest bartenders and the kind of atmosphere where gin shows its true potential — behind the bar.
The evening continued as Hendrick’s Cocktail Night, where the Sky Bar team was joined by three bartenders from the Czech bar scene. Arriving in Bratislava were Jaroslav Jeřábek from Alenka Cocktail Bar in Prague, Nikol Tomišková from Prague’s Anonymous Bar, and Štěpán Šimánek from Savage Bar in Prague.
Their guest shifts showed that Another Hendrick’s is not a product limited to a simple gin & tonic. It also works beautifully in more complex and creative cocktails.

A Product That Benefits from Context
What makes Another Hendrick’s interesting is that it can be communicated very simply, while still offering real depth for bartenders. To a guest, it can be introduced as the “white Hendrick’s” with orange blossom and cacao. For bartenders, however, it opens up a wider creative space: citrus, flowers, cacao, cucumber, tea, herbs, fruit, spritz-style serves and more complex cocktails.
The brand recommends a simple serve with tonic and cucumber, but Another Hendrick’s also makes sense in spritz-style drinks or cocktails built around lighter, aperitif-driven and pre-dinner occasions. The Sky Bar launch showed that this is not just a beautifully packaged product, but a liquid that can be taken in several different directions behind the bar.
At a time when the gin category needs fresh energy, Another Hendrick’s does not arrive as just another random flavour. It arrives as an expansion of a world we already know. Another side of a brand that has always been built on doing things a little differently.
And perhaps that is exactly why the name makes so much sense.
Not a new Hendrick’s. Not a different Hendrick’s.
